"We visited Pacheco this evening and it was delicious. I ordered the double pattie smash burger and wow. They were busy so they took around 10ish minutes but it was worth the wait. I'll be passing by during lunch more often. Definitely a hidden gem!"

"I wasn’t sure if a single patty would be fulfilling but it was! Good portion, good flavor but the bun was a little too soft for my liking. Fries were ok, seasoned well. I did have a barbacoa taco and they are very generous with the meat; it was ok also. The aguas frescas all taste homemade; we got one of each to try. So far the cucumber lime one is my favorite. Parking sucks, but not their fault! I can definitely see them operating out of their own space as opposed to leasing a small area in the convenience store! It would be great if their customers could sit and enjoy their meal fresh and comfortable. We couldn’t help ourselves and had to eat in the car. Also, the wait was about an hour (& we got there at 1:45 shortly after opening) they definitely need a bigger kitchen to accommodate their customers; it will help speed up the orders. I love that it’s family owned; there’s alot of potential. They were all very kind."

"We drove 40 minutes to try the food. The parking lot was packed, and there was a long line to place your order. After ordering there was an hour wait for our food which we were told before we placed our order. The food was well worth the wait! Everything was made fresh and was oh so good. There was a mix-up with part of our order, and the guy was very friendly and corrected the issue."

"I first ate Pacheco Taco n Burger as a pop up at the Oak Cliff cafe Everyday Works on a whim in early 2023. Fast forward a year to visiting their brick and mortar location in an unassuming Grand Prairie gas station, and I could not be more pleased at what I saw: word of mouth had clearly propelled them to new heights as the line was wrapped around the shop and nearly out the door! It took about an hour during Saturday lunch rush to order and get our meal which normally would have deterred me, but due to the quality of Pacheco’s food I’d say it’s worth the wait, or simply come at a less busy time. I also can't fault them for growing pains due to their well deserved success. As for the food, we got double smash burgers, asada fries, and barbacoa tacos, cue review: The double smash burger was the ultimate beef experience. I truly don't know a smash burger I like better in the metroplex off the top of my head, or really anywhere for that matter. The buns were warm, bordering hot, soft but not greasy, and perfectly toasted in between. The well-seasoned patties had equal crisping and full texture around the edges with juicy insides, and were piping hot. The cheese melt was textbook execution and I really couldn't ask for more - it seemed like they layered the cheese on the fry sauce to give it an almost liquid-like texture. Finally, vegetation (lettuce) was crisp and very finely chopped, present yet not overstated, and the pickles were finely diced and mixed with the sauce. All in all I would say this is as close as you can get to a perfect burger. The asada fries were slightly expensive at $15 but I would say worth it as a splurge or if you haven't had them. Pacheco wisely utilizes thin McDonalds-style fries with a good cook on them to maintain crispiness even when loaded up with a mountain of asada chunks, sour cream, fry sauce, and salsa verde. They were also seasoned to perfection and stood out on their own. Honorable mention to the barbacoa taco which is a strong contributor on its own - I would probably have Pacheco on my radar even if they only served tacos, it was that good. I am excited for the future of this business and hope they can expand their operations soon!"

"When you pull up you may feel a little hesitation but I strongly encourage you to try this place. Easily some of the best burgers we have ever had. The barbacoa tacos were also excellent! A MUST try place!"
