"My wife’s father referred us to this place, so we had high hopes for getting our car taken care of in a timely fashion, especially after seeing the excellent reviews on Google. It would seem we would have been in extremely safe hands, with the co-owner of the company, Alex Guerrero being the one who picked up our car’s ticket. Well, my car sat at their shop for 3 weeks, with Alex telling me they removed my door over the phone. When I arrived I realized they left my car outside of the shop when it rained heavily for a couple of days one week. When I told Alex I smell the now growing mold inside of my car, he then told me they never were inside my car nor they did they do any work. He also told me that outside of the parts needed to do my job, that he would also have to keep the car longer, because my insurance would not approve the extra items he wanted put in the claim. My driver door and fender were the only damaged parts, needing replacements with all new parts. He originally tried to put a damaged, non matching used door when he spoke with my wife first, which is why I took over talking with him. Once he realized insurance was involved, he now wanted to paint the hood and A-pillar, which were still factory paint and undamaged, because “he could see the difference because he’s been doing it so long” he also wanted the door badge to be shipped because it wasn’t on the brand new door. This is all after the car had been sitting at his shop for 3 weeks already and work had been approved, but now he wants to add this to the job? I explained to him that I rely on this vehicle for my income, that the rental that he insisted I use instead, does not suit well for my work. This guy does not do good business. I don’t know if he thought he saw a mark that he could take advantage of or if this is normal every day things in the life of Alex Guerrero, but I took my business elsewhere"

"Alex and his team worked on my truck and all I can say is they did an amazing job everything came out perfect they handled the insurance and made sure I got quality parts for my truck. "Prices were reasonable. But one day after the job was complete the door which was painted was much darker than the quarter panel. They then wanted TWICE the amount of money to blend it in ( Basically FIX their mistake). Very dissappointing as I was initially pleased at the turnaround but feel baited with a lower price and stuck with a completely mismatched door. Based on the owners COVER UP response it makes sense why the employee ( who wore a blue shirt like all their other employees and still list Mid Cities Collision as his place of employment on FB) who repainted the door wanted CASH. It still doesn't take away from the fact that the car was repaired at Mid Cities, by their employee (Jose Baca) , I was scammed out of my money ! Beware !!"
