"My unfortunate experience with this company comes to a halt. From not posted payments done in store with my social security entered on kiosk, to representatives in store advising the pin pad doesn't accept electronic payment then getting snarky asking don't I carry any cash. The items I wanted to purchase claimed to be available in store and waste of time because it wasn't, from roller skates to mesh backpack, shoes, Yeti product...literally almost everything we intended on purchasing. The follow you around the store and then pretend to not be able to help is an old lame tactic."
"This was Dec 23rd. 2 available spots in the parking lot but to be expected during this time. Good availability of what I was looking for. The reason it's not 4 stars is due the fact that when you spend over $200 a 10% military/veteran/LEO discount should have been available. It was not given."
"Went to the Academy in 35th South, 7903 I-35, San Antonio, TX 78224. On black Friday, Nov 24, around 4-5 PM, Josh was excellent. I bought something online - net practice for Soccer to pick up, and he told me I was in the wrong location, but he gave me options, searched for the item in his store, and told me I could buy it. He said while I park, he will get one for me, and told me to cancel my purchase. That right there is customer service!! The store was packed, people were walking all over, overloaded, and he could multitask in the returning section, in the cashier section, and in dealing with me. I want to thank him, and please take care of him with a bonus or vacation time! He went above and beyond! Also, I want to add the lady in the front, the greater, she saw my hands full and I asked her for a car please, and she did not give me attitude, she went immediately to get one and saw me struggling with my toddler and elder mom. Thank you guys!"
"They had some good sales going on when I went. Some of the workers made me feel uncomfortable bc they would walk close by and not day excuse me and no one asked if I needed assistance. But I purchased more than what I went into the store for."
