"My son played at the black star baseball friend. Was looking for a good place for lunch before heading home. I like finding places that are local to the area I visiting. The building is historical brick, has the the look and feel. Jessica the /bartender/waitress was ready to serve. I am a little picky when it comes to my beer selection but she didn’t not disappoint in letting me try some of the local brews I haven’t heard of letting me find the right beer for me to enjoy. I asked what was the most popular items to order for food, she recommended the wings and burgers. “These for sure are the most ordered.” Well my son ordered the wings and said he loved them. I ordered the basically burger and nodoubt it was awesome. Fresh meet made to order ready to go, bun was soft. If you want condiments it comes in packet form. But you shouldn’t need much with this burger, was very flavorful and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some sports on tv, cold beer, and a good burger or wings. It’s told my wife to remind me next time we have games in Kyle cause I want to go to this place for burgers. Hope this help people looking for a non franchise local place to eat."

"We went here, yesterday for “wing Wednesday.” Wow, the wings were AMAZING! Crispy and not greasy! They were every bit as good (and even better) than places that sell only wings! The fries were also crispy and not greasy. I was honestly surprised that it was not super busy in there, with $1 wings and the fact that the wings were so great! The service was great, as well, Friendly staff and the dj played great music that wasn’t ridiculously loud. We will definitely be back to try more of their food and of course have great wings!"

"Loved coming here and it’s a good spot for watching sports. Wings and food are pretty good. Unfortunately our most recent experience was one that will result in us never returning. We sat at a high top table that was cleared off and we even okayed it with the server of the section before sitting down to ensure it was an open table, only to be bullied and harassed by regulars for sitting at “their table” for over two hours. After multiple people coming up and making hasty comments, we decided to leave in the middle of a game. Wish this establishment the best but fair warning to all that try and sit at a high top table near the bar!"

"***** Food was above average "bar" food.**** If I was a college kid this place would be ok to hang out. As for the service and the friendliness they need to learn a lot. If your are going to work in an establishment KNOW your product. When I asked about a few beers I had not heard of she said she's not sure what they taste like, she only does shots!......... Waitress dropped food off at table and never came back to check on us for more drinks (we were drinking beer ........ So maybe that's why) I should of dined and dashed but hey we finally found her for our check."

"Wonderful dive bar. Key words "dive bar". Know what you are getting into, then embrace it. Cheap beers, wonderful cheese curds, all on the square in Kyle. Great service from Alex, the bartender, who by definition was serving the whole place. 20ish beers on tap, plenty of TVs. Great place."
