"Great cinnamon twist on a bike ride from Austin to San Antonio. Some welcome energy on Thanksgiving day...glad they were open!"

"I try not to post negative reviews of small businesses, but I think I've finally hit my threshold. We've been frequenting HCD almost weekly for eight years, and it's always been a great treat. The cinnamon roll donuts are our favorite, and they've always been SO good. However, the price has gone from $1.35 to $1.79 per donut, and they've almost completely stopped glazing them. They're pretty much slightly glazed across the middle and otherwise totally dry. I can't waste that kind of money and calorie count on something that used to be good and is now somewhat tolerable. We'd still be going there weekly if the donuts were what they were a couple years ago, but whoever's glazing the donuts is taking a cue from Dunkin' and it's a bummer!"

"It had been a while since we were last there. The city construction down Burleson Rd. and then the Pandemic, etc. They were closed for a bit, but they survived all of this. When we drove by a couple of times, nobody was there. We went, and they were open, so we stopped and ordered some shrimp fried rice. Man, o man, was it worth it. It was very tasty and a lot of shrimp in it. We will be going back and I will recommend this to friends & family."

"It took exactly 20 minutes to get my order to-go. I thought their fried rice had vegetables but no, only egg, black pepper and a bit of soy sauce. I ordered Chicken Garlic Sauce and all I had was a bunch of vegetables and barely 9 pieces of said chicken. Thought I'd give them a try but not anymore."
