National Outdoors and Army Surplus

"My father in law, a USMC vet, passed away and we are having his funeral at Fort Sam so we had to purchase his dress blues uniform to bury him in. And for anyone who’s a marine, you know those uniforms are expensive! Well we get up to the register and the girl asked if it was for a funeral and we told her yes and she said his uniform was free! With all the expenses we are having to make for the funeral, this was such a blessing to our family. Thank you all so much for honoring our vets who have gone to be with the Lord! Wish yall nothing but the best!"

"Very large sign at the entrance stating items returnable with tags still on and unused within a 30 day timeframe I believe, nowhere on the sign does it say EXCEPT surplus items! It is a damn surplus store!! What isn’t surplus!?? And we didn’t end up using the items due to a cancelled trip; tags are still on. Spent a good chunk of money on the items we did not need to return and kept."

"Cannot return “surplus” stuff. Even though there’s no signs. Even though they don’t say anything when you purchase. Even though there are signs saying returns accepted within 14 days with the receipt as long as tags are still on the items. Their response is it says it on the bottom of the receipt. So they tell you after you pay for it. What a scam of a store."
