"They had one store associate working the self check out during the holiday rush.... Why even have self checkout if you are going to turn them all off and make everyone go to one slow store associate line. Took over 15 minutes to check out since people ahead of me had card issues. Ridiculous management during the busiest season of the year!"
"This store used to be nice and presentable. Now the minimum wage workers treat everyone like criminals. They push recyclable totes that rip when wet and act like you offended their grandmother when you decline to purchase one. It's also not self check out anymore and they force you to answer unnecessary questions and surveys. Whoever took over running this store has run it into the ground. Tell your creepy employees to back off and let people shop in peace and not ask unnecessary questions about the shopping experience like you are Guest Experience at Disney World. Big Yikes"
"2.5 While immensely better in presentation than the $1.25 + $5 Tree next door, still leaves much to be desired. The associates are friendly, but usually not very knowledgeable. Product quality not usually worth the slightly reduced prices. Plenty of opportunity for impulse buys. Provided memory serves me right, this replaced the Earl Abel location listed as 1201 Austin Highway, even though it is 1247 Austin Highway. Maybe I'm going senile early. Anyhow, I think about pie and become hangry whenever I come here for that reason, accuracy be darned, because these overpriced gummy noodles are unable to quench that craving! Could use some more employee training so that when I try to find something, they do not almost automatically apologize for not knowing!"
