Once Upon A Child Lubbock

"I feel like they didn't even look thru my things. I had some brand new and barley worn girls clothes. 3 totes. Winter and summer. And I got 27 dollars for the few things they kept. When other stuff was perfectly fine most with tags still. I had 2 pair of the exact same shorts with tags just different colors and they took one and not the other. Then took the matching top to an outfit instead of buying the whole thing. On top of that, I brought the clothes neat and organized and folded and they give them back in a big ball in a trash bag. Super unprofessional. I know my clothes were nicer than the ones they had on the shelf. I posted on marketplace and got way more money for my items. So don't waste your time."

"I’ve sold there twice now. The girls there are super nice and one even helped me set up a stroller so i could sell it. The only downside is i can bring it 30+ things and get paid $26 . I understand it but just know when you sell, it might not be what you’re looking for. Shopping there is great! everything is neat and all the employees are sweet . A few months later and ive still been selling and shopping here. it’s a great environment. My only problem is this last time I went to go sell clothes and i got $26 for around 35 items, i bought some stuff that was around $18 and i traded it. the girl told me ( she looked new and i haven’t seen her around before this) that i have $9 store credit left so i politely told her okay and she checked out my stuff and i left. I went back around a week later and she told me that i don’t have anything left over and that i should have a slip, ( which she did not give me ). i politely just said okay and paid with cash u barely had. i’m not sure if this issue can be solved, just wanted to let you know about the issue i had shopping."

"Clothes are decent for the price. Some items were a bit high, like the baby stroller and bassinet. For $10 or $20 more you can get a new one. But the clothing was good price. I forgot to add that the older Hispanic lady was very friendly, but the young Mexican gir she was thin.. Around early 20's, but friendly at all . She was rude and acted like she was mute, not friendly at all. This was Saturday morning around 10 am. We were visiting family in Lubbock. So if you don't like dealing with customers, you shouldn't be in customer service profession."

"This is the WORST OUAC I have ever been to. The staff is beyond rude and doesn’t even greet you or speak to you while you drag your items in there to sell to them. They will ignore you and then tell you they aren’t buying anymore for the day and you are not allowed to leave your items to be picked up the next day. Everything is extremely overpriced for resale and when they buy from you, they rip you off, giving you only 10% off the sale price. I am on here to warn others not to waist their time. Shop elsewhere, sell elsewhere, this place quite literally sucks from top to bottom. OUAC has lost a very loyal customer. They should get their store together, at this rate, they are on their way out of business because I know for a fact I’m not the only one unhappy with their service. It’s a shame."

"I’ve sold multiple times but the last time will probably be my last. I got there 20 minutes before the store even opened and had to wait in line. Luckily I was first. They’ve always allowed me to leave after checking in my items well this time they made me stay in the store for 3 hours! I had a crying baby that was hungry for lunch and wasn’t allowed to leave. The two women behind me were allowed to leave but I was not. The clothes I brought in were in perfect condition and the majority of it they gave back. Things that are on their racks are so outdated."
