"First off… I was skeptical because I lived off Poke in San Diego. The way this was done was phenominal, dare I say BETTER than So-Cal poke. The BEST poke in San Antonio for sure, glad I found this place! Go get you a bowl, You wont regret it"

"As a stand alone this place was absolutely amazing but since they merged it seems to be less so, I miss being able to see everything and order it as I see it since there’s a good amount of options, I also had a super hard time finding the location. It also doesn’t seem as friendly and the person up front doesn’t seem to know the menu or how any of it works and not as friendly. Which sucks cause I used to adore this place and come in every week but I stopped cause I moved jobs. Edit: I see the reply from the owner, and the food was still amazing, no issues there (though there wasn’t enough soy sauce but that may have been a personal preference?). I think ordering online and picking it up is a good solution too! I’m sorry they couldn’t renew their lease in the old location."

"For a long time I loved going to this place when it was still located on 1604 near the Blanco intersection. My favorite was always the Spurs bowl. It was always nice to see the employees preparing the food in front of you. It was always nice to know they got the Blue plate award. It was great as a stand alone restaurant. Now as I see it has moved to this new location inside the Wok On Wheels at 4503 DeZavala Rd, they prepare everything in the back kitchen. It's not like a front serving line anymore where you can choose your items as you move alone. This is very disappointing to me and I'm not sure I will return to this restaurant again in the future. My first experience at this new location. The lady at the front desk barely knew what was going on with the poke central brand. She didn't understand the menu very well. And it seemed like the people working the kitchen barely knew the menu as well. It's hard to believe that poke central in its present environment is even worthy of this blue plate award anymore. Poke Central was never made for this fast food takeout environment."

"Amazingggg! So fresh, and love the many options available. Mexican coke to top it off, so good and very filling with the 2 scoop option. I had tofu and salmon, white rice and zucchini noodles, and a bunch of extras including edemame, pineapple, jalepeno, cilantro, cucumber… really fresh and was able to eat on 1 bowl twice !"
