"We buy so much of our equipment through TRE- they have really great prices. I also had an issue with a small part on a cooler I recently purchased. They were able to send a technician out to fix it for us under warranty, and the communication from the team was fantastic (informing me of delays and such). Highly recommend this company!"

"On 12/15/20, auction was Manipulated by taking Items around number 4135 from about 23 minutes left to bid immediately to Auction Ended giving No Opportunity to bid or rebid. I called the office and their response was they have no control over it. It is run by computer. Staff tried to explain about 3 minutes auction endings and 5 minutes with no bids rules which were not true. These explanations have nothing to do with items that were not scheduled to end at auction for 23 minutes. What kind of BS are they trying to sell. They are responsible for the Auction, the computer, the disappointing customer service and the results of the auction. Caution in San Antonio. Very disappointed."

"Here at Manna concept bakery in Tomball, we have greatly appreciated and utilized Texas Restaurant Equipment for our new construction buildout, where we found our lovely umbrellas, workhorse oven, tall refrigerators, under counter refrigerators and freezers (very important to our open kitchen concept, hiding them low to appeal to an old world look), stainless tables, office storage, small wares, etc etc. The employees were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful, and everything was a fraction of the cost of buying new or even used, and worked well into our concept. Bidding was fun and made sense. Without this store auction we could not have done our lovely place within our budget. We see a second location in our future, at which time I'll be frequenting this store again A big thank you for your service"

"Purchased a EquipChef 3-door reach-in freezer October 2016 and put into service February 21. Three months into operation, several technical issues have occurred that leads me to conclude that this brand of equipment is poorly manufactured. I have requested warranty service on a replacement controller and was told that TRE does not honor a warranty on this equipment, brand label equipment that appears to be manufactured at TRE. Since the request for warranty service on the faulty controller, the heater unit was found to be defective. While exploring the condition of the heater, it was observed that the condenser coil was not even anchored to the base of the unit. completely free flowing in the cabinet hanging by the wiring harness. If you are reading this review, please do not purchase any of the refrigeration equipment under this brand label EqupChefs."
