"That was real good soul food. The fish battered great, beans, green beans, yams and cornbread was amazing. The Mac and cheese was good but tasted a tab bit salty, but still cheesy and good. Staff are nice and friendly. This will be my new spot on Sunday’s."
"Food portions was on point for the price$32 for the oxtails pictured below but the oxtails and the gravy had no flavor. The meat was tender but if it had flavor it would have been the money meal for me. Service and atmosphere was 100%."
"We arrived shortly after 11:30 AM. My Aunt wanted to try the fried catfish entree, but we quickly noticed they were hard and looked overcooked and old. Fortunately, the smothered pork chops were delicious, tender, and well-seasoned. Our sides consisted of yams, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. They were absolutely delectable and worth every penny. Seasoned to perfection! We each received 2 moist and sweet cornbread muffins. Overall, the meal was delicious and worth the price, but that peach cobbler was not happening. It was tasteless, bland, and definitely NOT worth the $5 price. I was so disappointed."
"Staff was great, polite, welcoming. Food was a sloppy mess. Sweet potatoes lots of cinnamon and allspice. Ribs over cooked in crock pot taste covered in a gravy like BBQ sauce. Not a fan. Fried fish was great. Crispy breading tender inside. Mash potatoes tasted like made from powdered box."
"5 star customer service! The food is delicious. The cabbage and candied yams are very good. And that catfish is everything, fried to perfection! But baby, the rice and gravy brought everything together. Whoever makes the gravy needs a raise. My girls loved the fried chicken too. I should've taken better pics, but I couldn't wait to dig in. I highly recommend! The owner came over and checked in on us. I love great customer service!"
