"Clothes are great but I won't shop here again. They have an inventory problem and held my money hostage (giving themselves an interest free loan - that's a liquidity problem) when my 2 hour online pickup order couldn't be fulfilled and they would not cancel the order. It wasn't ready for 8 days and the credit card hold wasn't released for another week. I'm sure this is a systemic problem not limited to this one particular store. If you like predatory shopping, this place is for you!"

"Went in last Wednesday and called beforehand to see if the return policy was the same, any jean however condition without receipt, everything was great overall amazing experience. American Eagle accepted 15+ jeans plus some shirts that I have had for over a year and got store credit for the clearance price. I decided to go in today to buy new Jeans, which I did, and wanted to return 2 more jeans it was a different manager and according to her only jeans with a receipt or manufacturing issue are accepted. I called AE customer service to find out if the policy has changed and it definitely has not. It is very contradicting to have two managers work at the same store and have to be told two different return policy’s. This didn’t sit well with me because in a matter of a week the policy was not changed and I was only allowed a 10 dollar credit towards my purchase."

"Overall my experience at the beginning was not a good one, I went to the fitting rooms to try on a couple of items and the lady there was extremely rude. I’m not sure if she was just having a bad day, but she was rude and seemed as if she didn’t want to be there. Which I completely understand, but that is not an excuse to take it out on the customers. However, at checkout a girl named Mari was very nice and funny and made me feel much better about my trip to American Eagle. She has great customer service and all around seems like a great employee! If only the girl in the fitting room could’ve been as nice as her the review would definitely be a 5 star."
