"I’m really surprised that any reviews would say the sales staff here are unfriendly! I went in with my mom to look around and we were there for quite a while. Both the ladies working were very welcoming and attentive! They have beautiful merchandise and although it’s pricey, it seems worth it. The store itself is really pretty too. Don’t overlook their accessories and “extras” - I purchased some perfume oil and it’s really lovely."
"Today was the third time I’ve visited this store., The clothing and accessories are lovely.They are displayed beautifully.The sales staff is very aloof and rude.I got the distinct feeling that they don’t want anyone in their store.I’ll find Johnny Was at a different source. Not a fun place to visit. Johnny Was is suppose to be a happy style and a bit boho."

"This place needs to work on their customer service. I walked in and made eye contact with one of the older sales clerks. Instead of greeting me with a smile, she just looked at me strangely as if I didn't have enough money to shop there. She then followed me around needlessly adjusting hangers probably to make sure I didn't slip something in my shopping bag. Horrible. I guess I'll have to do my shopping online."
