"The sushi is always unique and fresh. Every time I have come, I get a reservation and I never have to wait. Our server Joe made the experience great and answered all of our questions"

"Uni'ko offers a truly unique experience. From the decor to the food, this definitely made for a memorable lunch. As a party of 2, we were seated quickly which was a pleasant surprise for a Saturday. As a starter, we ordered the beef sashimi. The dish included several strips of raw meat on a plate and a separate hot stone to cook the meat. The meat was so tender and very tasty. This appetizer is not to be missed, but be sure to place all the meat on the stone as soon as possible to ensure the beef cooks before the stone cools too much. We also ordered two sushi rolls which took quite a while to come out, but we're worth the wait. The Romeo and Juliette roll was served on a long plate with fire (and possibly sugar) along side it. This made for a somewhat room temperature roll but was still very delicious. It included salmon and was topped with spicy tuna. The salmon was partially cooked from the heat of the fire, which added to the flavor. The roll was delicious but also very spicy. The other roll we ordered was the Kani which was a little more basic but also very good. The shrimp was very small, even for shrimp, but overall was fine. The seaweed salad was pretty good too. It was a little spicy but also very tasty."

"To sum up my experience: good service, elevated atmosphere, presentation and price but food is mediocre. I came for dinner on a Tuesday night around 7:30. The dining room is small with around 10 tables and a small 4 seat sushi bar(service for around 35-40 people). They also have outdoor seating on the terrace with nice landscaping near a fountain. The decor is modern and the music sounds like Asian dance groove. I had no trouble getting a table right away. I ordered the spicy edamame, mixed green salad, Vegetarian teppenyaki, hot tea, and chocolate ganache cake. The salad was a good size for the price and beautifully presented but it was swimming in this spicy dressing- only order of you love wasabi. The teppenyaki came with steamed or fried rice surrounded by vegetables. The flavor left something to be desired and I didn’t feel the portion was a good value for the price. I think the dish could be improved by adding tofu. The hot tea was a stash green tea bag and the chocolate ganache cake tasted stale. I never received the edamame but was still charged for it. The server was very nice about removing it from the bill. The bottom line: it was acceptable but I wouldn’t come back."

"We were wanting to celebrate for my brothers birthday while we were in town and I did a lot of research before choosing this place. Let me just say, we were BLOWN AWAY! 1. Stellar service, our server Rebekah was so attentive and made us feel super comfortable and gave our experience that extra wow factor. 2. The sushi- omg amazing! The tastes and different flavor profiles from the different rolls we got were just such a treat. I was so happy that we loved each roll that we ordered. So fresh and delicious! 3. The location. I did not expect this beautiful apartment complex that reminds me of a resort almost like Atlantis in the Bahamas. You can take a stroll beforehand and take pictures and then after dinner walk around too. The only thing is that the restaurant is a bit small so not that much space and it was kind of hot inside. But honestly that didn’t take away from our amazing experience. I will not stop raving about this place and would recommend to anybody looking for a special place to have high quality sushi!"
