Jakes Burgers and Beer

"My waitress was really really sweet. But I have to say I will never go back! The first time I went right after covid and things were starting to open. My brother was facing the back of restaurant and a guy comes through from the bar , projectile vomiting everywhere around us !!!! We couldn’t eat but they didn’t take it off of our bill !! So needless to say, we haven’t been back for a couple of years . Today I decided to give it a shot and I will never go back !! Like I said my waitress was amazing but the food was really bad . I ordered a hamburger with bacon and cheese and it looked HUGE but in reality the meat was cold and as thin as a McDonald’s child’s burger and was so grisily I had to put it in a napkin politely. I was so looking forward to a REAL burger all juicy and thick and tasty but alas this certainly wasn’t the place. No strike 3 ! You’re out on 2 !!!"

"The first time I came to Jake's was really good. My family really enjoyed it, is had been a while since so we decided to go again. To our surprise the food dose not taste as good as the first day. The meat patty is not as big and is very thin. I was not able to finish my burger before and know I can eat the burger and a salad. Unfortunately we don't really plan on going back any time soon or at all. Service is good and they deliver the food fast but to me the food has lost its touch and is not worth the price."

"Went to Jake's for lunch! It was pretty empty and our waiter was ok. She only checked up on us once but the food was great! I enjoyed my burger and so did my hubby."

"Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Menu looked great for burger selection. We had the works and tried the hot chicken sandwich. Burger was run of the mill nothing special. The chicken tasted the best. However, the meat was thin like a thin crust pizza and the bun was thick. Too much bun to chicken ratio. The cheese curds were okay, super greasy same with the pickle chips. Culver’s has better curds imo. There are much better burger options out there for this price point."

"Haven't been to this location before, but the atmosphere is pretty good. Definitely gives good sports bar vibes. The service is ok. Out waitress didn't know a lot of the happy hour prices, but she was pleasant. The double cheeseburger and the Jake burger were juicy and full of flavor. The onion rings were good but not crispy, and the queso fries definitely hit the spot. My only minor complaint is that they charged extra for grilled onions, which were already included on the burger, without letting me know. So, in essence, I was served raw and grilled onions on my burger. But I did let my server know, and the extra charge was removed. All in all, this is a great spot to watch the game, relax, and enjoy some good eats."
