"I Love that Ashims stays open late. When I’m not working there. I still come to enjoy sushi and Hibachi. Worth it. The kitchen closes before the lobby so if you want to get your grub on better show up before last Call ! :)"
"Love the ambience, the music is perfect volume to have conversations with friends this is one of my favorite places. The only downside is the service sometimes if it’s your first time the menu is a bit confusing and the staff won’t engage on a lot of explaining. As well as refilling sauces (soy sauce). The food is delicious I always enjoy coming here by myself or with a group of friends."
"Only really enjoyed the fresh miso soup that blew my mind. The Calamari was perfect. The yellowtail roll was mid. The rice was dry.. My friend ordered chicken hibachi plate which was received hot in an adequate time, while my 15 pcs Sashimi plate took 50 mins. And I only received 9 pieces. I waited longer for the rest. The manger said he gave me extra pieces… there was one. I ordered more white rice to go with the sashimi.. which I personally don’t feel like I should’ve had to pay for as I paid for my food in advance and it was forgotten about. I don’t need a free appetizer or anything, but rice isn’t a huge food cost. It’s really the principle for me personally. Also when the rice was ready, it was placed on the wrong table. A dirty table of people I watched leave while I waited for my plate. Who I assume was the manager, did apologize but it was just really quick. It didn’t really seem too important and I watched everyone else in the restaurant (less than 20 customers) be served before me. Honestly a very disappointing experience. I had high hopes. Won’t be back."
