"Poppy’s Pizza has been one of our faves for a long time! Serving up some the best pizza pie in San Antonio. The place reminds me of an old school pizzeria the way they should be. Simple and priced right. Not looking for frills just good dang pizza! The staff has always been courteous and accommodating. If you are looking for fast food this ain’t it. Good pizza takes time if it’s made fresh so expect a 20 minute wait, it’s well worth it."

"First time trying this place. I got a margharita pizza and a cannoli to-go and loved them! I'm a little picky about pizza and almost only eat it in NY, and this pizza was just my type! Crispy and a perfect ratio of toppings. The cannoli was delicious. The service was great too! I look forward to returning to try the cheesecake, wings, and garlic rolls."

"Tried Poppy’s Pizza for the first time today and it was awesome! I had a small pepperoni pizza and slice of cheesecake. I am disappointed that I had not tried Poppys sooner. The pizza has the perfect ratio of sauce, cheese, and crust. I like my crust on the thinner side and this was perfect. Not too thin and not too thick. The cheesecake was the cherry on top! It was so fluffy and the perfect level of sweet. I can’t wait to go back and try more!"
