"This is the second time I’ve ordered from this location the first being in Super Bowl Sunday which was an amazing experience on its own. This time we got some lunch and ordered a large cheese, wings, and pizza rolls. The pizza is great. As someone who grew up in the NJ/NY area this is far better than any of the chain pizza spots around like Pizza Hut, domino’s, hungry Howies, and definitely Papa John’s. The wings are always fresh and simply delicious. The pizza rolls are different but hit the spot. If you are in the area definitely check this place out."

"Food was great. We got a 18” pepperoni pizza and lemon buffalo wings. Pizza has a good crunch, not too saucy, and the right amount of greasy-ness. My boyfriend had the wings and said they were great. We didn’t get it, but the Happy hour special is a good deal too. The server was very attentive as well. Would totally recommend, even if you’re just driving through the area."

"A small local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! We have been customers since it first opened and still eat here frequently. Definitely a go-to place with family, friends, coworkers and after a sports game with the entire team. Variety to choose from pizza, wings, pizza rolls, chicken wrap, spaghetti and other items that are delicious. Ryan, Ethel and Anthony provide exceptional customer service."

This act of kindness was a great way to entice us to visit, and I am so glad we did! Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere immediately caught my attention. The vibrant sports-themed decor and the energizing buzz of conversation created a fantastic ambiance, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends. The management truly knows how to set the tone for a memorable dining experience. Speaking of memorable, I had the pleasure of meeting the owners themselves, who took the time to introduce themselves and chat with us. Not only were they incredibly friendly, but they also provided us with excellent recommendations on what to try from their menu. Their passion for their craft was evident, and it definitely showed in the food. Let's talk about the food – it was exceptional! The wings were nothing short of amazing, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Each bite was packed with flavor, and I couldn't get enough. The pizza rolls were another highlight of the meal. They were crispy on the outside, oozing with cheese and toppings on the inside. Absolutely delicious! What truly elevated my experience at Halftime Pizza was the outstanding customer service provided by our waitress. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and always sporting a genuine smile. She went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of throughout our entire meal. I was truly impressed by her professionalism and genuine friendliness. All in all, my visit to Halftime Pizza was a 5-star experience. From the generous gift card received, to the incredible atmosphere, exceptional management, and the outstanding customer service provided by our waitress, everything about this place exceeded my expectations. "We have lived in San Antonio for 5 years and just now found this amazing pizza gem! Food is delicious and service is excellent! The Garlic Knots were yummy but could’ve had a little more garlic. We had Calzones (what? Vegan calzones; yes please!) that were delicious but vegan cheese rarely melts and was solid in the center. Regardless, this was the BEST calzone I’ve ever had. I ordered a calzone with vegan pepperoni, caramelized onions and black olives; and my husband ordered a calzone with vegan sausage, caramelized onions and black olives. We both enjoyed our calzones but he says next time he will order the pepperoni—which is quite peppery but still yummy. The beer is great but they do not have a beer menu to select from. It would be nice if they had a tap list readily available but the options were still great. Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!"
