"Cheap Plain Jane anchor hocking glass 9 inch pie plate walmart 3.18 THE EXACT SAME PLATE resale center 15.99 This is just ONE absurd example of the monstrosity I saw in this place today. I mean from dollar tree wore out items for 6 and 7 bucks to chipped glassware ranging from 5 to 20. Absolutely ridiculous ! I use to always try to support these organizations before buying new. The key word in Thriftstore is THRIFT. There was not one thing I saw that wasn't marked up waaaaaay passed brand new retail price. How do you expect people to support the cause Catholic charities? ("from your home to helping others"?!?!?) How?! I know now why your parking lot isn't full like it use to be. My donations and my business is lost."

"A total waste of time. Looking for used furniture and I can get stuff cheaper BRAND NEW on Amazon. Apparently they don't realize the stuff they have is USED. And the store smelled like BO."

"Previously Ive had them change prices on me at the register from what it says on thier sign. Recently they have started WRITING prices on clothing with SHARPIE!? Way to ruin all the clothing. Wont be back."

"Clothes are about the only "thrifty" thing here, everything else is just under retail price. Not sure how they make money off some of this stuff. Some priced to keep rather than sell. Found a nice dresser, $200.. what? No. Not even brand new would it be that much. I'll stay about from this one for now, unless I am looking for clothes (or .50 books)"
