"I don't understand why I have to say my phone number when all they have to do is scan my treats app. I specifically told the cashier that I didn't want to say my phone number out loud and wanted them to pull up my account info just by scanning the app. The cashier still said he needed my phone number(which was a lie) so I gave my number. Then after scanning my order he asked to see the app, I told him I was only using the app so I wouldn't say my number, I already knew that I didn't have points towards my order. The cashier responds oh sorry you don't have any points. Like am I talking to myself or what! Why is it only 1 staff member is trained to understand how to scan the app when a customer doesn't feel comfortable saying their number out loud! This Avon, IN location needs to do better and the rest that have this problem. The receipts don't provide an option to give customer service surveys because so they don't have to deal with complaints or kudos."

"Went to petsmart yesterday to see what they had. Went to go look at the bettas and saw the terrible conditions they were in. Almost half of the betta cups were full of algae and some were dead, pale, or already getting swim bladder disease. Some had fin rot and starting to get spine deformation. We spoke to the manager and she claimed they were getting a water change today. Idk if they did the water change but the condition of the water was horrible and can clearly tell no one takes care of them. We tried to explain that some of the koi bettas are super sick or other bettas that we know how they're supposed to look, looked nothing like they should. Counted 4-5 dead bettas, multiple cups with algae, diseased. And one fhat had a cracked cup. We saved one betta but manager or person attending us didnt want to give a discount. After seeing a video of another petsmart location throwing away live betta, i cant support this specific petsmart or any petsmarts at all. I know not all locations are like this but i don't have much hope. If you want quality fish, take the trip to The Reef in Indianapolis. Atleast they treat their bettas with care and attention and the betta comes with a free live plant."
