"I’ve lived in this area my whole life and it is a favorite place of mine. I like the size of the park, it’s not too overwhelming, very intimate. Great place for swimming and camping. Highly recommend if you want somewhere affordable and serene with out being too far from the city."

"We were on site #2. It was big and spacious had a cement picnic table, a fire pit and a lantern hook. The site wasn’t a problem the problem was the camp host across from us kept their lights on ALL night long! They never were outside at all. That was inconsiderate and rude to other campers. I think they are afraid of the dark!"

"This camping site is a very good one. You can come with your tent or house in their campers. There are many deers and snakes around though. So beware. I didn't see any snake till I left but I saw a deer. So you have to watch out while driving. The deers here can be so brave. This particular one kept staring till we made a move to pass by it. They have tree trails that tell you more about the trees."

"The camp vonlunteers and workers are very nice and friendly. Campground is a very safe place, enough that I left my bike unattended several times and it was untouched. Small warning though, if you're illergic to bee stings then take safety measures becuase there are a lot of yellow jackets in the campground(at least the part where we were that was away from the water. The campground has nice swimming areas and bike trails. There are also hiking trails. There are at least 5 different places to swim including the beach area which accounts for 2 of those spaces. They have picnic areas near the beach with shaded benches and stand-up grills. The campgrounds has showers also. There is also an abundance of firewood thanks to a camp vollunteer that makes it his mission to saw up fallen trees into logs small enough for the fire pit. I enjoyed myself, can't wait to head back."
