Lotus Homewood Apartments

"Don't waste your time! 12/08/2023 This place isn't worth the money the new owners are charging. There is no way a one-bedroom not renovated should cost over $900.00. No one ever walked my apartment but assumed it was renovated. Everyone here is paying a different amount. The tenants were given a four-day notice on 11/04/2023 to sign a lease. Forcing people to sign, move, or go month to month the rent would be $1200.00. This is highway robbery. Update them and then charge people for modern apartments. I would advise everyone to find somewhere else to move it is not worth the money they are charging for these outdated apartments."

"Worst Apartments!!! I lived in these apartments for many years almost a decade and the new management is terrible. The lady who is now a manger of these apartments won't answer the phone when emergencies happen and will not listen and try and fix the problems with the apartments. She is disgustingly rude when as paying customers all we want is what we pay for! They say these apartments are pet friendly of course they are because they are rat infested I have personally talked to many neighbors who have rats out of nowhere. Also the pool has been shut down for almost 5 years and has not been fixed. Only one laundry unit works and it has been this way for almost a year. There is no luxury to these apartments because they constantly flood and management will NOT pay for damages and won't even clean up the sewer water instead they make the paying customer do it. As well as I have many neighbors myself included who had gone MONTHS without ac in this alabama weather management did not care. Even the new and renovated apartments are infested with rats so save your money and move somewhere unless you want a constant headache."

"This place is disgusting. If I could afford to move, I would. Whoever bought this place hasn’t fulfilled ANY of the duties in their lease agreement. No pool for over a year, no pest treatments which are badly needed and several Laundry units haven’t worked in weeks. Not to mention my specific unit has broken things that have been ignored for months."
