"Nice Marriott Courtyard. Seems like it has been updated in the past couple years. Lots of shopping including a Target & Fresh Market across the street. Nice mall and shopping less than 5 minutes away. Very quiet location."
"Excellent hotel! The rooms are in great condition and everything is comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area with plenty of parking around the building. Front desk staff very friendly. I would definitely stay here again."
"The first time I stayed here, the pool was full of dirt and completely unusable. A major reason for choosing the hotel was spending a day at the pool with the daughter I was visiting. It's false advertising and unethical to advertise amenities that don't exist, and a black hole in the ground is not a pool. Additionally, instead of giving me two double beds, as was offered, I was given one double, again disturbing my plans for having my daughter spend the night. A minor inconvenience was the fact that there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom dispensers. The whole place was just run down and I'll kept. In addition, they were completely unapologetic. The carpet in the hallways is long past it's prime, and if not dirty, certainly appears to be. One bright spot is that if you upgrade to a suite, the room is very nice, with two double beds and a separate room for lounging. It's not 5 star, but is very comfortable. The nicest amenity is the cafe downstairs, which has Starbucks coffee."
"This was a great place for us for our single night in Birmingham. Right off the highway, minutes from downtown, safe and secure. The staff was super friendly and the room was so spacious, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!"
"Not too far a drive from downtown or the airport. Clean, quiet and cozy. Nice pool. Small gym but sufficient equipment. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again."
