The Grand Reserve at Madison Apartments

"I’ve lived here for two years and it was very quiet and nice. However when I moved in two years ago they promised me stainless steel appliances that I never received and kept saying they were on back order. Turns out I never got them by the end of my two years moving out. Upon moving out, I moved out august 12th 2023. It is November 6th 2023 and I’ve still yet to receive my deposit back. Every time I call it’s we sent it or we are waiting for the account people to call us back. At this point I don’t even want the deposit back because it’s almost been two months…."

"I moved out this apartment on June 29, 2023. However, the landlord haven’t refund my security deposit of $500 after over two months of my move-out date. I have contacted the office several times to inquire about the status of my deposit, but I have not received a response. According to Alabama law, landlords must return security deposits within 60 days of the tenant's move-out date. I am disappointed and frustrated by the landlord's behavior. I hope that this complaint will help to ensure that other tenants do not have to go through the same experience"

"Alice and Kim do a wonderful job of trying to help all of the residents with any issues and are clearly working very hard and going above and beyond to get everything set straight and streamline our and their processes. The complex is beautiful and the amenities are plentiful. My wife and I love the community events and the ability to meet our neighbors at the pool. I would recommend this complex to anyone and wish Alice and Kim the best in making this a better place for us all. Thank you all so much and I hope you hear that often. Also, the maintenance staff has great response time and do a great job with issues of all sizes ."

"My move-in was amazing. the application process was easy. Coming from the west coast the price for what I am getting is mind blowing. The management and maintenance team are very friendly and attentive to my needs. The few things that needed to be addressed where completed quickly. The area is clean, the neighborhood is quiet. I am very pleased. The only thing I would like to see done would be the parking stripes to be repainted. It is a little hard to see at night."

"I have never paid this much to live anywhere. The management is beyond ridiculous. My bill hasn't been the same not a single time since I've lived here. My apartment was supposed to be newly renovated and it did have new appliances but the apartment still has spots on the walls with only putty and not even sanded at that. When I moved in over half of my wall input plugs didn't work. The lights in my bathroom, kitchen, and dining room didn't work. I had a leak under both kitchen and bathroom sinks. The wood plank at the end of my counter top closing in my dishwasher fell off because it was never connected to the frame. I will never refer anyone to live here. These pictures are only a few."
