"I have lived in a 4 bedroom townhouse and I am currently in a 2 bedroom + 2 1/5 bath townhouse and they are very spacious, homey units. The rates are exceptionally reasonable considering that I am a student that is responsible for their own rent, along with all that is offered and/or available to the residents. The facilities are by far some of the nicest that I've been to in regards to off-campus student housing. The Clubhouse is ALWAYS having some sort of community activity that are actually enjoyable. It also never hurts when the Clubhouse randomly gives out free food or tickets to Hangout Fest!! (i won two tickets to Hangout Fest of 2022 when I went in to pay rent!!! THANKS RP!! "

"Redpoint leaves every apartment filthy. The floors stained with such thick dirt it turns your feet black. Paint stains all over the floor and walls. Bathrooms are filthy, hair caught in the paint job on the walls/baseboards. Toilet was left clogged. Carpet in my bedroom was filthy and had BB pellets embedded in the floor. Everything was dusty. Hallway floors were stained with thick dirt turning our feet black as well as the entire downstairs. Laundry room was filthy. Looked like no one had ever cleaned under there. Redpoint will charge you random fees multiple times a month making your rent not what they agreed on it to be. When we moved in we were missing one screen to our window, carpet messed up in certain places, porches are stained, floors across the whole apartment are disgusting."

"I'm late doing this review but my daughter moved in in 8/2023. The place was ridiculous not cleaned, plumbing issues, this is definitely not the model that was shown to spark interest. The office staff especially maintenance are rude as hell and acts if the kids are bothersome asking for simple request that they shouldn't even have to ask for. The other crew members have attitudes when changing out furniture. The dryer in their apartment if going out in my opinion if you have to dry clothes 2 and 3 times. They won't replace it. I'm a very unhappy parent to know that my child has to live in these conditions just to get an education. I have reached out to office staff. I wont do that again. But I will reach out to someone with higher authority. The response they send everyone is to reach out maybe they should reach out to their tenants and correct the issues that are being complained about. But yet instill no matter the problem or complaint they want their rent on the first."

"Absolutely disgusting. We were the first of our group to move in. Door was not locked when we arrived. Apartment was NOT cleaned or even looked at before move in. Some of the furniture was missing from the bedroom and was found on the porch. We found underwear in the sink. The “brand new mattress” was stained with pee and blood. After leaving messages and being told they were “on their way” to fix the issues, we finally went to the office for the second time. Once there, we heard other move in horror stories, one included a cat coming out of the couch cushions, or many keys not working…was absolutely NOTHING checked before move in?!?! Friends apartments in other buildings on property were not cleaned before move in either. After multiple calls and visits to the office, a cleaning crew did a random job of cleaning. How are the bottoms of our feet literally black after you “cleaned” the floor. Dust comes up out of the floor as you walk. The underwear was taken out of the sink, but we had to call them back as there was paper and debris stuffed down the drains. And the mattress? They did replace it several hours later, but left it lying on the front lawn. Let’s see how the rest of the year goes"

"Today 08/12/2023 was my move in date. I went to take a look at my apartment and I was disgusted. It was VERY unsettling to see things that I did not see during the showing. It was mold in the air vents , a couch that didn’t belong , scratches, dirt everywhere, residue from marijuana and not to mention the refrigerator was nasty. Prior to moving in, me and my roommates sent them a email mentioning that we would not like a unit like this due to illnesses! Not to mention , this is NOT the model we were told we were getting. I’m highly disappointed with Redpoint Tuscaloosa! We requested a unit change and we were told they can’t do that , but they can clean it up. I would NOT recommend staying here this is baffling!"
