"They provided outdated HOA documents at closing indicating a $250 annual fee when it's actually $500. They charge a $30 fee for a payment plan for monthly payments after the Zillow listing clearly stated a monthly payment."

"I have lived at a Spaces property for over a year now and Macy Hunt and their team is absolutely amazing. Every normal apartment issue I’ve had has been resolved and Macy is so on top of it. Couldn’t recommend enough!"

"Currently renting at Crimson Place. Our lease ends July 22. My daughter has emailed the property manager and copied Spaces Management regarding our move-out plans, final walk-through, etc on June 1st. No response. A second email was sent June 15. Christina and Spaces have YET to respond. Last night, we returned to the unit after a brief absence to find the door unlocked! We double checked that door when we left so there is no question someone unlawfully entered the property without proper notice. I texted Christina immediately. Here we are 16 hrs later, still no response. My husband will be going up to that office in person. This is absolutely unacceptable."

"If i could give Spaces Management a 0 star review, i would. This is the worst, most un-communicative, unhelpful property management company i have ever dealt with in Tuscaloosa. Our property manager is basically unreachable. We have been able to get her on the phone MAYBE once when we’ve had multiple questions/concerns/issues with our house/management. We have had multiple maintenance issues and maintenance has showed up ONCE to fix it (we had to get our dads to drive to our house to fix our other issues). When said maintenance DID show up, they removed our entire cabinet from our kitchen and said they would come back in “a couple days” to put it back up. It’s been 6 months and we still don’t have a kitchen cabinet. If you ever want to contact Spaces Management, you’ll have call over and over again to even reach someone. So good luck. They have WAY too many properties they need to manage. They need to sell their properties to companies who can properly manage them."

"I live in Villages at Oakland Springs in Madison. Spaces just took over as HOA manager a couple months ago. We are fine with living in a covenant community and generally look forward to being in a well maintained neighborhood. After the first neighborhood inspection Spaces conducted many of us in the neighborhood were cited and told to pressure wash our driveways. This is rather absurd as the neighborhood is still very much in active construction with constant red dirt and mud spread by heavy equipment trucks. It would be helpful to understand what Spaces considers to be the appropriate amount of times a year a home owner should be expected to pressure wash our very small driveways. We received our first $50 citation but the online portal doesn’t show what the citation relates to. I sincerely hope they are being as “active” on enforcement of the builders and contractors as they are on home owners. Hopefully I can update my review and rating soon if things improve, but the initial impression of their management performance has not been acceptable. Pictured is the constant red dirt state of the neighborhood roads, the wide open job sites that never have any form fencing or barricade to prevent construction waste and debris from spreading, how the driveway looks one week after chemical cleaning, and finally a crooked lamp post we see from our front porch for twenty three months and counting."
