"From my experience, the leasing agent for this complex was horrible. There were a few listings for available units online and so I scheduled a viewing. We had a tour of a unit on a Friday and I liked everything so I went to apply and the unit was no longer there so I contacted the agent and she told me that she’s sorry but her colleague told her it was leased out already. I was very disappointed as this seemed pretty unprofessional to me about the lack of communication. So I applied for the very next unit next door since it was listed for the same price and already had a tour of the unit next door. I followed up on Monday and the leasing agent said that unit I applied for was taken off the site over the weekend because the owner is selling it. At this point, I was very upset because I paid a $80 application fee for me and my co-signer and lost it because of the leasing company’s lack of professionalism. The leasing agent then gave me a list of units that were clearly above my budget. I had no choice but to began to began to think this lady is racist and just didn’t want me there because of the color of my skin. This was very unprofessional and I am very upset that I cannot get my application fee back because of the leasing office apparent listing units that were unavailable. Horrible experience."

"Best place I've lived in Tuscaloosa. Only a short five-minute drive to campus, Riverbend Commons is safe and very quiet. It's a great place to live as a grad student when you want to get away from main campus. Management is excellent and responsive, issues are always handled and taken care of within a few hours. Couldn't recommend living here enough!"

"Excellent place to live. It's quite, clean, and very dog friendly! It's 5 min away of the University. The property manager is prompt at responding to any issue, and it is often fixed the same day. The complex is very well maintained and extremely safe! Highly recommended!"

"I would never have considered living in an apartment complex in a college town until spending a lot of time at Riverbend Commons visiting my friend. Riverbend is the exact opposite of what you’d expect in a college town. It’s mostly graduate students and professionals, so it’s VERY quiet and laid-back. I love how the complex is setup (parking on backside of buildings and HUGE courtyard in front of buildings) so that it truly feels like a community/neighborhood. There are numerous cameras and the gate actually works unlike many other complexes in town, so I definitely feel safe there. I rent my condo through Duckworth-Morris and Jason Moon is incredible! He always responds quickly to maintenance issues."

"I have lived here the past two years and I love it! I’m a student at UA and it is a quick and easy drive to campus. The atmosphere is quiet and safe and there is an amazing pool for summertime. Anytime I needed something fixed maintenance was either here that same day or the next day to fix it. Highly recommend living here!"
