"Great place, cheap, walking distance from campus. Electricity, water, dumpster and even internet are included in the rent. Internet runs at outstanding speed. Only issue is the occasional lack of parking (usually on gameday,) but there is enough free parking on 19th Ave so it doesn't really matter"
"Apartments have mold and the smell of cigarettes and weed linger throughout all of the apartments. Maintenance/pest control will enter your apartment without giving you any notice. One or more washing machine is usually not working and doesn't get repaired for months/years. The property manager laughs when you call to complain."
"Have enjoyed living here for the past 1 1/2 years. $725 for a full sized apartment by myself and every utility (including internet) is amazing. Kept my apartment like an absolute ice box during summer and cozy in the winter, no worrying on electric cost. I’ve stayed with Weaver my whole time at alabama and they are good at the office, I have never waited more than a day for someone to look at any issue, and I’ve had very few of those. Only downside is that the building is old so the interior is kind of drab - but it’s built solid, I don’t have any issue with noise from neighbors or plumbing or electrical issues. You can’t say that about a LOT of student housing in Tuscaloosa."
"Great place to live as a college student! Most of the tenants are older so it’s usually quiet, the neighborhood is nice, and it’s right in the middle of town. Really enhanced my college experience."
