"I have lived at union tuscaloosa for two years and rent continues to increase and problems keep coming. 1. We completely run out of hot water after using the shower for 10-15 minutes. We have contacted maintenance about this many times and their only solutions were run our washer on cold and run the dishwasher overnight. I haven't had this issue anywhere else that I have lived (including the dorms). We continue to have this problem and it is a huge inconvenience. 2. My roommates and I have had mail and packages mysteriously disappear. For awhile all mail in our mailbox was literally cut open. Currently, we haven't received any mail in over two weeks. I have come to the staff with each problem and they entirely blame the carrier. While I don't know what is truly causing these issues, the common denominator is Union. 3. The elevators break at least once every two weeks. As a fifth floor resident this a huge inconvenience. While they typically blame this on people "jumping" in the elevator, the posted certificate in the elevator states that the inspection certification expired in May 2022. I also know many other residents that have had scary experiences with getting stuck in the elevator. There are other smaller problems but these are the major ones. Hot water, access to mail service, and a functional and safe elevator are the BARE MINIMUM, especially considering the price of rent here. Save your money and live elsewhere."

"It’s a Beautiful/nice /clean place . My niece Lives there and she is so happy and satisfied where she is. The maintenance/Management staff are AWESOME with keeping the place clean and all things working well . Will recommend my friends to come by/check out Union for their college student to reside there !!!!!!!"

"Worth your money! I lived here from August 2021-August 2023 with close to 0 complaints …. And that’s not easy to say about a college apartment complex. Staff was routinely cleaning, amenities are awesome, maintenance is quick and super outgoing, leasing office staff are so kind, resident portal is easy to use, location is phenomenal, security made me feel very safe, etc. I would stay here longer if I could—I am so sad to be leaving this place post-grad!"
