"If I could give them ZERO stars I would. This was the most awful hair braiding experience ever. Let's start with them not having sufficient books for me to pick a kid friendly style out of. Then I was asked to "find a style off YouTube or google" using my phone. I did just that. And I explained to them that I wanted minor changes to the design of the braids. They acted as if they didn't comprehend and finally tried to convince me that my granddaughter couldn't get a certain braid pattern because her hair is natural. I continued to explain the style. They pretended to understand and preceded to start on her hair. I noticed they weren't braiding really good. But I allowed them to finish because I know sometimes the outcome is better than the process. Time passes and I go look at the braids, they are awful and the design is no where near the picture that I showed them. I expressed my displeasure and the OWNER begins to argue with me that it is what I asked for. I let her continue but I go back and show her the picture and try to explain what I wanted. She starts telling me how she's been braiding for a certain amount of time and knows how to run her business because she's been in business for 7 years. At this point I'd been in the shop for 4 hours for 3 rows of cornrows so I just sat down and let her finish. No professionalism, and no sanitation. I would not recommend, and I would never go back. Not even if this were the last braiding shop in the world. By far the worst experience I've had in my 53 years of life."
