"I had a 5 star experience thanks to Sandra she was so polite and energetic. Her energy and knowledge about the store actually got me to by 2 extra things that I wasn't sure I wanted. She is definitely an asset to the company. I will be back for that experience again!!"

"I went because I seen they had amazing reviews. I won’t go back ever again. I went to get some food for my two gold fish & when the guy cashed me out it rung up to be $4.39. I told him the tag on the shelf said $2.99. He didn’t offer to help me nor to make this issue right. He told me that he has nothing to do with that and regardless of what it may say I have to pay what it rings up as. I said well can you come look at the tag? He said, “no I cannot. It’s a waste of time because if it still rings up as $3.99 than that’s what we still charge.” I said I’ve never had that happen before and I told him I checked and read the tag to make sure and that it wasn’t right. He than goes to say, “I need y’all to move, I have someone else in line!” I was shocked! I have never been treated like that over something so little. He was extremely rude and didn’t even wanna help. All he had to do was apologize for this mixup but he didn’t. He didn’t even say sorry. He just kept being ugly about it. I than asked again if he was gonna help us and he once again said no. I said well I wanna see the manager. He said well you’ll have to wait I have to ring all them up first. I said where is she and he said in the back and I went and got her myself. Spoke with the nice young lady and she immediately apologized and fixed the issue. She than went and confronted him on his actions and he still didn’t apologize. I won’t never go back. If I was her I wouldn’t want someone like that working for me. But because of him I won’t ever go back! It wasn’t a big deal it was only a $1 but what made me soo upset was how he handled the situation- he didn’t handle it at all but with rudeness’ that’s what upset me. It was the principal. I wasn’t ugly to him one bit. I didn’t deserve that as a nice customer. Employees these days aren’t like they use to be."

"They have nice plants here, their new fish arrivals come in on Thursdays. The staff are great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Here's a Betta that I got there...he is so sweet he is very social and is happy every time he sees me coming near his tank."

"My mother & I came into the store yesterday afternoon to buy a hamster. I haven't had a small pet since childhood. My cat of 17+ years passed away over the holiday weekend, & I am not ready to get another. As soon as we walked in the door, we were immediately assisted by Sarah. She answered all of our questions, and she was able to give us detailed information about various products. She showed us a lot of options & made suggestions based on our needs. We were also assisted by Olivia, who was able to tell me about gender differences so that I could pick the right pet. They even told us about different characteristics & temperaments. I happened to select a very large cage, & as I was looking at the box, my mother questioned whether I was feeling well enough to undertake such a complex task. Sarah & Olivia, who were aware I had just experienced a loss, offered to put the cage together & get it ready right there in the store. Once they got started, I knew for sure there was no way I could have gotten it together today by myself. They were efficient & managed to get it finished faster than I could have hoped, while simultaneously monitoring the store, working the front end, & assisting other customers. The store manager Kristina also stopped by a number of times to assist, & the positive quality of the interactions between all 3 of them was very evident. After the cage was together, Olivia & Sarah added bedding, food, water, litter, & the hamster. The cost for everything was definitely less than I expected. This will be my first stop for my family's pet needs moving forward. That has more to do with the people working there than the prices or selection. I worked in customer service for years. It's hard. There's a world of difference between just working in customer service versus being GOOD at customer service. Look around at the stores where you shop, & it's no doubt that quality customer service is lacking in most places. But what my mother & I experienced yesterday was the very definition of quality. It was sorely needed during a difficult time, & these employees went well above & beyond anything I could have hoped for. Thank you!"
