"Great food for starters. I am from the Gulf Coast of Texas and know good seafood, and as far as the fried shrimp crab claws oysters and grilled fish, it's definitely good. The atmosphere and hospitality were awesome. If I was going to complain about anything it would be that the band was a bit loud for dining but it was also 9pm already and everyone else was dancing and having a blast so it made up for it."
"There is so much dust on the grates, beams, walls and decor. Flat soda, 100% syrup. Hard, cloudy water that coated my mouth. Expired Mayo. Burger patty was not good. Seemed microwaved from the freezer. Plastic-y cheese slices. No seasoning on anything. My stomach is churning. Friendly people, but I'm confused at the 5 star reviews."

"Not to be confused with just Jan's Seafood House, Jan's Beach House is known for seafood but has a lot more to offer. I went on a recommendation and the food was great. I got the fish fingers, gouda grits, and spicy fried mac and cheese. Finished with chocolate mousse cake. Tried it a second time over the weekend to confirm consistency and it was even better. I got the chicken bites and fries and a few cocktails from the bar and finished it off with key lime pie. It's definitely a small business owner whose place is worth a visit. Just look for flamingos on the Eastern Blvd."
