Montgomery Whitewater

"Visited first time tonight. Really like being able to walk around. Brought two bus loads of people. I did notice that the first walking bridge I went over had shadows on the down side and made it hard to see the steps. Was not lit very well. Walked around and site is beautiful and a good walking path. Went up to Eddys and there are concrete steps leading down there that also have shadows and are not well lit. Might want to address all these steps not being well lit. Someone might miss a step and fall and I am sure you do not want that. My first time to visit. I will more than lightly come back since I live here in Montgomery."

"Excellent place. Just to go eat and have a drink is great. There are plenty of places to seat, but my recommendation is to bring your comfy lawn chair. You will be more comfortable, you can put it anywhere you want. Everyone is very accommodating. This is a place worth supporting. I have not done the water sports, that is on my list soon!"

"I normally wouldn't review a place unless I sampled their primary services. I preface with I didn't go white water rafting. Our company hosted an event at the venue and it is a beautiful park. The bars and restaurants were great and there was a good crowd and live music even on a Thursday night. Kids and families were there and it was well lit even after dark. I got to see some of the kayakers on the white water and it looked awesome. I will certainly come enjoy the space again soon and maybe even try something new and go kayaking."

"We are locals to the area, and the time that we were, there was really nice. The people were friendly in the restaurant as well and it was very good quality. The rapids look scary but safe and interesting at the same time. We saw the groups rafting and beingdirected by the coach on the raft. Very peaceful environment and we will be coming back to actually do the rafting."

"This was opening weekend for this attraction and they had plenty of staff pointing people in the right direction, depending on what you were looking for. Everyone was very pleasant and visited the on-site restaurant and got a tour of the entire park. The pictures I have seen did not do this place justice. The weather slowed down the crowds. They had an incredible beer selection and they had to move the music from the common area outside, into an area near the restaurant. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff as they had to pivot their plans but overall my daughter and I had a great time and were greatly impressed with everything Montgomery Whitewater brings to our city."
