"While the hotel is still under renovation in the public areas, the rooms have all recently been redone. They are beautifully decorated but the blackout window shades are about an inch short so you are greeted early in the morning with bright light, negating the blackout feature. The room is large but the bathroom is not, it barely fit one person comfortably, while standing at the sink you are almost touching the toilet. The shower is very narrow with only one little corner wire shelf for the soap - where does the shampoo, razors, washcloth, etc go? And then my biggest pet peeve of all is the lack of foot rest so you can shave your legs in the shower. Even lower tier Springhill Suites have these in their new or remodeled hotels. The hotel looks beautiful but the experience was not, probably wouldn’t be back"

"This hotel’s website was misleading. It is under construction and has no restaurant and no vending machines! We arrived a bit early and the moldy smell greeted us as soon as we opened the front door. The walk to the front desk was surrounded by raw drywall. The front desk was in a makeshift room and didn't look like a lobby at all. The pictures on the website was NOT as the hotel looked when I arrived. This was VERY misleading. In addition, the website stated there was a restaurant in the hotel and there wasn't. This is quite an issue as we were two women traveling alone. Also, there were no vending machines in the hotel. I've never been in a hotel with no vending machines. The next morning of our stay, we were awakened to an announcement saying all guests were to evacuate the hotel. We evacuated down the stairs (which my sister had a very hard time with) only to find out that it was a false alarm. The front desk representative told us that they made another announcement that it was a false alarm. That was not the truth as we heard nothing the entire time we were slowly walking down the stairs. The employees made no attempt to apologize and no reparation was suggested. This was the worst stay I've had in a hotel in over 30 years. I was ready to leave and go to another hotel but I'd paid a very high $546 for a two night stay. All of that for a hotel with no services whatsoever. Our stay was Jan 29 – 31st 2024"

"Stayed during renovations and plan on staying again once reservations are completed! Great location with a quiet, luxury feel and exceptional character. There was ample paid parking nearby and several great food and beverage options within walking distance. The only concerns were the odd almost cheap perfume type smells in my room and the pungent chemical/rancid smell coming from the water. I'm sure these things can be easily remedied once the major renovations are done. Other than that I stayed here as a solo female traveler with no issues."

"This will be really nice when they finish renovations. The room was very clean and fresh. The decorations were exceptional including a lot of incredibly unique artwork in the room and halls. The fridge was in the cabinet under the TV hidden which was a nice look. Right now the halls and elevators are pretty rough from renovations but it'll be beautiful as they finish."

"It's a nice room but not worth the price considering the state of the hotel. It is cold right now, but the outside area did not appear to be in good condition. There's no place to eat or get a drink, at least that's what we were told. Pretty limited to the elevator and hallway to the exit. I'm sure it will be very nice when it is finished. And maybe worth the $174 price?"
