"The worst chicken gizzards I’ve had anywhere in my life. They were undercooked to the point where the breading was like oatmeal. And the manager said that was good and refused to replace my order he just said he could cook them longer but that’s how people like them around there. I really hate to complain about my food and I’m not a picky eater but I like chicken gizzards I get them a lot of places and now every time I get them I think of how bad they were from this place."
"The chicken was well seasoned and cooked to doneness. We were disappointed in the coleslaw. The consistency was equivalent to mush. Also, they did not give enough gravy to the amount of mashed potatoes."
"My workplace had a Lee's catering box a few months ago and I've been searching for it ever since. This is hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had. This chicken had people who dont normally like chicken slurping it off the bone. I would fight and die for this chicken. I ate 7 drumsticks and had a full-blown religious experience. 10/10 would recommend"
"This is my favorite restaurant in Danville. I would travel 100 miles to visit this restaurant! The gizzards are by far the most memorable part of Lee's but the chicken can't be beat. I have ate fried chicken all over the world and nothing compares to the crispy, flavor packed, moist taste of when bite into a piece of Lee's chicken. If you haven't had the pleasure of eating here, then I say go, go now! You won't regret it."
