"I visited the shop yesterday and what an awesome place! After entering, I was greeted by a disembodied voice. The shopowner Heidi was knitting away in a middle section, very chill, friendly, and easy to talk to. Heidi has a great selection of yarn, from Berrocco to Malabrigo to Rowan, in addition to quality tools for knitting and crocheting. And the prices of the yarn and things are great too! My total ended up being a lot less than expected. And it was great to see the pieces she's made placed around the shop (check out the Mr Frog and Mr Toad, so adorable! And the garments—dreamy) I don't live locally in Mobile, but when given the opportunity, I'll definitely go back to Mobile Yarn!"

So very glad to have made the trip across the Bay. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. These folks know and care about their customers as they knew immediately that I was a first time customer. "LOVE this shop and it’s owner! Heidi took time out of her busy day to teach my husband the basics of getting started weaving and was able to teach me to tat in an hour, something no one had been able to do over 25 years of trying. She has a large selection of fibers and notions and the experience to show you how to use them. Don’t let the small appearance of her shop deceive you. There are plenty of treasures inside."
"Love Mobile Yarn! Heidi is a super gal, has lots of knowledge about all facets of fiber crafts and materials. The shop is well stocked and has all the latest new yarns and pattern ideas.
