"Service was excellent. We went without a reservation on Valentine's so it was full. We had to eat in the patio. Otherwise, dining inside would have been more romantic (although it was a bit loud as it was full). Food had big servings. The salad was good. The trout needed a bit more seasoning - not a big issue."
"J. Alexander's is definitely one of the best dinning experiences in Huntsville. The staff is the best in the city. Attentive, polite, expeditious and did I mention always polite. Menu is limited so I recommend whatever the Chef's Special is for the day but the regular menu items are awsome as well. Atmosphere is great for any occasion. Casual dinner and/or drinks at the bar or something more intimate in the private areas to the left and right. One of two places in the city I always recommend to vistors!"
"I had the aged NY Strip steak and it was fantastic! I followed that up with their Key Lime pie and WOW was it amazing! The service was fast and friendly as well. I really enjoyed the atmosphere inside; it has a warm, cozy, and inviting feel. I would highly recommend!"
"It was AMAZING!! Overall, the food was wonderful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and our waiter was awesome. The lasagna was filling, as well as the crab cake and deviled eggs. The bacon had my family guessing what glaze was used because it was delicious lol. Overall 10s across the board….A+++."
"Nice dinner for two in no hurry. Atmosphere is nice and booths are comfy. The Salmon dip is delicious and the $15 martinis are top notch. We both ordered a burger. First, it is huge and comes with skinny fries. But, the burger flavor is fairly plain. There's a bar if you want to drop in, otherwise reservations are a good idea. Our server was nice, but pretty slow."
