Mozza Pizza Restaurant

"We LOVE Mozza Pizza!! It is our favorite. BUT…..we do not love their Big Boy pizza. The Big Boy pizza for some reason seems to lack in quality as compared to the smaller versions. Toppings are in the center of the pizza and also are rather scarce. The finished product for the Big Boy pizza is sub-par next to its smaller sized versions. The crust isn’t as good. It ends up rather soggy in the middle because the toppings are mostly in the middle. The pizza itself turns out much more bland and truly nothing special. The seasoning doesn’t seem to be the same either. The other issue we are not fans of is the fact all topping choices are not made available to put onto a specialty pizza. Guessing you would need to create your own version instead, but I have not tested that out yet to be able to say for certain. Again, we love Mizza Pizza and think it is delicious and an absolute must try. We just do not suggest wasting money on the Big Boy sized pizza. You will not truly experience the freshness, fabulous flavors, what they have to offer. Their staff, they are great! Very kind, friendly, and helpful. Can’t think of another place that could beat them at how genuine they are with customer interaction. The picture below is the point that I am packing up the second pizza for leftovers to toss in the freezer. Supreme was already packed up and in the freezer. My husband cut off the center portion of one slice because that is where all the toppings were. We were so disappointed with the Big Boy versions of the meat lovers and the supreme pizza that we went and got something else for dinner tonight. I’ll rescue the leftover another day with the way we like to reheat pizza, but these 2 pizzas will require something more to make them desirable as leftovers. They will have to be enhanced with seasoning and additional toppings."

"Hands down the best pizza in Huntsville. Both the pizzas we ordered were excellent and delicious. The supreme was loaded with high quality toppings and one of the house specials, The Grandma Pizza, was packed full of flavor. Wonderful, friendly staff too!"

"Definitely more my style pizza. I’ve never been to NY, but this pizza brought back memories from where I grew up. Price is decent. Could use a little more sauce in my opinion. Wasn’t that big of a fan of the garlic knots. They’re too small, resulting in being less soft that I prefer. Need salt to bring out some of the flavors too. I ordered pickup for an early dinner. It wasn’t that busy but the staff seemed off their game and quite disorganized. Apparently they forgot to put in my call-in order which was a little frustrating. They got it out quick though, I only had to wait 15 min. Staff seems really nice and caring but they do need to improve their organization."

"Really enjoyed our first visit! The staff were very attentive and we were seated and served very quickly. The prices were great for a large family. We tried fried ravioli and garlic knots( which were not actually knots, but bread bites), cheese pizza for the kiddos and supreme/ meat lovers for the adults. Loved the NY style crust!Everyone enjoyed their meals and we will definitely go back again."

"So the local paper did a write up on them and they're flooded with customers. Cut them some slack here for a few weeks. This is what Huntsville has needed! Real NY Pizza. It's not super greasy, it's got good flavor, you can taste the basil. The dough is really good, Mozza is now our go-to pizza place, especially for a quick by the slice meal."
