"We hosted a baby shower at the Alexander Blue House on February 4th, and it was fantastic. The staff was professional and courteous from booking through cleanup, and the pricing was very affordable. They have a huge parking lot and will work with you on the layout options. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for an event venue."

"I was married here at Newburgh Church and the ladies were very helpful! It was a blizzard and one of them was out there shoveling the steps and the walkway for my guests. My only complaint is the director, Chris that we scheduled the wedding with. I called to asked if we could place flowers and photos the night before at rehearsal, so we were not so stressed the day of to decorate. He absolutely refused to let us do so. I could understand if there was an event after ours, but there was not and he was adamant that we could only do it at our paid alloted time...it takes nothing to go the extra mile. We could have paid and gone anywhere else to be married, but we chose to support our local historical park. They are pretty strict here given it is a historical church, so just be conscious of that. But, Chris not letting us put flowers out the night before was pretty ridiculous. Everyone else was fantastic and made our day special!"

"A friend and I went to the festival of lights. We had a lovely time. Enjoyed the home, general store, the Elvis impersonator in the church. Also the gift shop. Everyone was welcoming and knowledgeable. Thank you for such a fun experience."

"It was wonderful! They had candy bar bingo in a beautiful historic home, a visit from Elvis in the church, crafts in the schoolhouse, a cute general store, street hockey, and Santa and Mrs. Claus were there. Also, the lights were beautiful! Overall, it was a very fun time!"

"Like to come here in the morning to walk with the dog. It's a pleasant quiet place with both the historical village, a beautiful garden area in the summer and nice wooded trails. The view of the sunrise from the hill is also really nice. Four stars instead of five because I have no idea what the buildings open to the public are like or how it is when there's an event."
