"Probably the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. During my entire lease we had 3 different owners; each one lost everyone’s rent - allegedly - a lot of people who’ve been here for 15+ years were falsely evicted and accused of non pay of rent. My husband and I paid almost 3k to these people but no avail even with PROOF pictures, receipts, and court paperwork proving we were always paid up still no win. Something illegal is going on with this building and I understand that folks would assume someone is bitter and just posting nasty information but that’s far from my goal here; I want to make people aware of what’s actually going on here. Terrible experience. My rental history was destroyed after this; and now my family is out of thousands of dollars because of illegal activity and fake evictions. Not to mention, lots of mold and black mold problems. Bad pipes constant water leeks, sometimes the building would have notices and fines from the city. one time a delinquent dte bill was tagged on the building for the owners where the electricity had been off for days. Not due to power outage but not paying their bills. Our long term neighbors left or was evicted; section 8 residents evicted because the state refused to pay their rent until the building was up to code. So the judge of course sides with the owners. Listen please don’t waste your time here. Look elsewhere like down the street at oak park manor or the atrium. Something is not right about this building and the “owners” it rotated through. Hopefully this review doesn’t disappear with the others that have been here... Edit: I find it laughable that two years later my review gets a response from someone it wasn't even related to. Wanted to add the previous owner that kept taking us to court for money we had already paid ended up having to pay us back those funds. I'm now a happy home owner. But thanks for reminding me to update this with your unprofessional response."
