Starkweather Lofts

"I have been here a few months and overall have good things to say about the complex. The apartments are spacious and well-appointed. Apartments are well soundproofed and I have never heard my neighbors (granted I chose a top floor unit so nobody would be walking overhead). The leasing staff are helpful and repairs are completed quickly. The grounds are fairly well maintained and clean. The location is nice and a reasonably short walk from downtown Plymouth and a short drive from just about anything you might need. There is plenty of parking for residents and guests. My main issue is something that the apartment complex has no control over but should be considered when looking at this place... there are train tracks nearby and CONSTANT train horns can be heard at all hours of the day and night, loud enough to wake you up (even with windows closed). The units are also priced aggressively high but not completely unreasonable for the amenities, market, and location. The gym has limited equipment and there is no pool."

"The Property Manager Bianca Avery gave me a wonderful presentation this week. She gave a full tour of the property and reviewed all my options with me. She was very interested is what I was looking for in my future home. she made sure I had all the information I needed to make a well informed decision. Starkweather is lucky to have her working for them."

"Starkweather lofts has been an amazing place to call home. The apartments are beautiful and peaceful and the location is so close to major freeways, downtown Plymouth, and biking/walking trails at Hines Drive. Most importantly, the office staff has been incredible. Bianca, the property manager, has been extremely helpful with any questions I’ve had during my time here. She is always responsive, professional, and accommodating, even going above and beyond by taking the time to follow up after the fact. She is running this fabulous community very well. Myself, and I’m sure the other residents, truly appreciate her diligence!"

"This is actually the second time I have lived at Starkweather lofts. This second time living here has definitely been better than the first by far. The property is clean, responsive, and has a much better community feel (I have met way more people this time around). This is clearly all because of the new management - specifically Bianca in the leasing office. She has been extremely pleasant and extremely helpful with any questions I have. I would definitely recommend living at these apartment complexes because of her."

"Lofts appear nice on first inspection but in truth contain poor finishings, HUD minimum level appliances and water heater and NO SOUNDPROOFING. Neither management nor ownership, despite numerous written promises, care to maintain the external property. Dog park is a dangerous disaster, there are drainage problems everywhere, and the "landscaping" is a joke. On my 5th Beztak property manager and they've all been awful. Bright spots are location, high ceilings and Vince, the maintenance manager who is the only Beztak employee who cares about his job and the tenants. Negotiate the rent as it's priced based on their mood. Quick story so you know who you're dealing with. Christy the new property manager gave away the carport of longest tenured and very elderly resident to entice a new renter. The stroke and heart attack survivor was given a new spot as far away from her building entrance as possible. When she contacted Christy she was treated rudely and blown off. Tenants are considering putting rent in escrow to force managements hand. I'm moving out."
