"Customer service is horrible. Made over 10 attempts to contact office manager and never received any call back or anything. In the course of my stay at Silver Lake Arbor had to deal with mice and ants inside my apartment. Could smell my neighbors smoking Marijuana through the paper thin walls. Also had to watch your step because neighbors did not clean up after their pets. Horrible, horrible place. Would strongly recommend stay at this place if you have children. Lockwood Management is not much better. When you can call them it goes right to voice mail. When I did get a call back, was told they would get back to be in 24 hours..LOL got a call back in over a week after I called 3 times. I was told it is an internal issue and none of my business. Their website claims their core value is "Do the right thing." What a joke."

"I have lived here for 3 yrs now and the management under Cheryl has been superb, she is professional and considerate of tenants needs and I was strongly considering renewing my lease up to last week. What possibly is changing my mind is a fairly new leasing agent named Jessica, her lack of professionalism and discretion is beyond my comprehension. This person took it upon herself to leave a note on my car regarding my parking space, this note was not in an envelope, was not put on my apartment door, but left out for any body and every body to see, she did not call me or request that I stop in to discuss an issue she blatantly displayed to all walking by, I was mortified and immediately addressed this when I was off work the next morning, thankfully Cheryl was in the office and this matter was taken care of quickly and professionally as a misunderstanding on my part. This is not the only time Jessica has used poor judgement with tenants as far as I am concerned; I am a working professional who works 12 hour nights and for some reason she thought leasing to a young couple with a toddler right above me was appropriate, needless to say my sleep is some what disturbed, I know in my heart Cheryl always took more care and consideration with her leasing judgment, it is one of the reasons I have renewed my lease with Cheryl. Before this person came on board I would have rated my experience here a 5 Star, now I feel it is only going to go down from here and I am concerned about living in an environment with mediocre staff."

"People drive incredibly fast. My friend still lives there and we both agree maintenance is horrible at being professional. He has knocked on the door often and even unlocked it without a phone call before...they do not call you before they come over they just kinda expect you to be there and ready...and if there is an emergency downstairs (there was some water damage) they will come in unlock your door and yell "anyone home?" one day I came out of my bedroom in just a sheet I was so startled.. Neighbors are horrible if you are on the top floor. Expect problems if you weigh over 30 pounds and you are walking around in your home...had the cops called on me at 10 pm at night because my kids were still up and walking around. (that is when I had it and had to leave) I was on the waiting list for low income for about a year...and I was told while we were living there we would get them faster because we were residents. One month I called for a week (We could not afford to pay 800$ and up anymore..) I left a few voice mails because no one ever called me back...when I finally went in to talk to them after a week had gone by with no phone calls back..she yelled at me and said that She would have called me if they had something! ....You should always call your tenants back...When we finally decided to leave after a year and 3 months there I put in my 30 days notice...and Got a call that they had one..right when we were leaving...Thanks! overall if you are an older couple yeah its okay...if you have kids or pets...no."

"Horrible apartment complex. From day one we have had issues with them maintaining our apartment, we've had mold since day one. They tried telling me I had to take care of it and after 6 months of living here they finally came out to fix the issue after me telling them I would not pay rent until it was fixed-just to have the guy re-caulk without cleaning and guess what? Not even a month later it came back- not to mention how rude the staff is. They also have tried any way they can to make extra money off of us for nothing (like trying to get a pet waste fee of $75 even though in our lease agreement it says $25-and its not even our pet's waste...no one cleans up after their pet instead they leave it in my "front yard"/patio area!) I cannot wait to get out of this place and would never recommend it at all."
