I had an apartment facing the tree line which was pretty. Management was great and anytime I needed something as it related to maintenance the response was same day."

"Lived here for four years and it was a great experience. Quiet, nice neighbors, and pretty secluded considering the location. Management is INCREDIBLE! When our lease ended we were still a few days away from closing on our house and moving, Cornerridge let us stay a few extra days over our lease date so we weren’t homeless for a week. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a quiet place to call home in Kentwood!"

"Apartment manager harasses me when I go to visit boyfriend. Posts passive aggressive messages about how residents can only have visitors over 2 times a month?? People can not stop over with a pet, to be exact a 3lb toy poodle (smaller than cats that are allowed) without harassment. Makes you register every visitors car with her or threatens to tow. Will follow you and scream through the window instead of having a civil face to face conversation. Dings on brand new vehicle from other residents in car port. We can watch drug deals from the wide open parking lot in front of building. Very obvious they are drug deals. Rent is higher than other apartments in area, and these apartments have better amenities. You can also watch bums dumpster dive in the trash on the regular. Car was broken into, but nothing stolen because there was nothing to steal. Carpets were NOT CLEANED on arrival although they will get angry when you try to discuss this with them. No dishwasher, no garbage disposal. There are loud, regular trains. For some reason there are street lights RIGHT OUTSIDE the bedroom windows on the 2nd floor. If you can sleep in daylight conditions, go for it. DHS will ring every door bell to get in the door and deliver packages, even if they are not your packages. Packages are delivered daily. Office hours are unusual. Worst experience with an apartment I have ever had. Will update as things progress. 1/11/18: I have seen a posting put up weeks after the dog incident today, and have a photo of it for proof. She has a copy of the lease highlighted about tenants not having dogs. It says nothing about guests. I was putting wiper fluid in my vehicle while I was waiting for my boyfriend to come downstairs a few days ago. She also put a note about how people weren't allowed to work on their vehicles in the parking lot with the dog note. LOL LADY. It was wiper fluid??? What? I don't get it, I hope that wasn't directed towards me as well. My boyfriend has never had any issues and always pays rent on time. He's a well respected man. I'm an honors student at my college. There's no reason for this. I don't even live in this place and I would advise people to avoid this place like the plague based on our on going experience. There are many other respectable complexes to look into in the area. I strongly suggest it."

"Nice enough place. The Pros: Cheap (510/mo for 1BR), mostly quiet neighbors, A/C, nice big bedroom and bathroom, convenient location that's fairly close to cascade, kentwood, wyoming, caledonia, and only a few minutes from I-96 and M6. The Cons: tiny kitchen, smallish living room, lack of dishwasher, you pay the bills (besides trash pickup and water), laundry on-site but not in-apartment. Trains run nearby several times daily and nightly and are quite loud, so be a sound sleeper or wear earplugs. Overall a decent place if you work nearby. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it to friends though. They allow cats, which explains the slight odor in my unit."
