"The unit itself is fine. In my opinion you are getting exactly what you are paying for. The maintenance man is great and very timely. If it wasn't for the issue below it would be 5 stars. The big problem that has me counting down the days to the end of my lease is parking. They say you can only have two cars, but of the four units in my building. I am the only unit with two cars. One of my neighbors has 5. The others have 3 and 4 respectively. So that leaves no parking for me some nights when I get home late from work. So I find myself parking my car at the park up the road and walking a 1/4 mile with groceries and a toddler. Even when you park in your driveway it doesn't mean you can get out. People don't pull their cars up all they way which will prevent you from getting out of your driveway. Sometimes you don't get to use your driveway because your neighbors friends are parked there. Lastly if you live here pray you don't need the fire dept or an ambulance because guess what's in the fire lane? You guessed it....... more cars! Yes they threaten to tow but everyone has learned it is an empty threat. I know this place may seem like a deal, but if you have a family and places to be, don't do it....."

"Lived here for 2 years through college. Would give it 4.5 stars if possible, but giving it 5 to compensate for bad reviews under previous management. Loved it here for the most part. Thought the prices were really solid for having a 4 bed and 4.5 bath. Communication with management USED to be awful, but management changed in 2022. The new landlord is super chill, friendly, and overall just makes it a really solid place to live overall."

"Why are you increasing rent ? Makes no sense. That’s like me telling you to gargle your toilet water. Have some common sense please and thanks."

"They've gotten rid of their property management company and have started managing things themselves. First we've been trying to give them a 30 day notice that we're moving out as per the terms of our lease. I've haven't had a single response indicating that they've received my message. I've also tried calling the property manager, Logan, several times over the past few days and it always goes straight to voicemail. And leaving a message is futile as the message I've left has gone unreturned. The property has shared garage space and our neighbors have been smoking in theirs which is against the terms of the lease. My husband's informed him 3 times of this, but nothing has happened to stop it. They've also stopped providing us with salt to keep the sidewalks free of ice as well (the sidewalks we have to shovel ourselves, mind you). That's if you can even walk on the sidewalks because due to lack of available parking spaces for residents, most have to pull up on the sidewalk to get their cars out of the way of oncoming traffic on these narrow boulevards. In addition to the poor management of the property and lack of parking spaces, the residences themselves are in poor shape. The carpets are easily as old as the Fairbanks Village themselves (over a decade) and merely steam cleaned when renters move out. Also the cheap finishes are falling apart, drains are constantly clogged (and unless you want to pay for the plumber to come find and fix the problem out of your own pocket, then you live with slow moving drains), and it's incredibly drafty so it's too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. As far as neighbors go, some are nice. But a lot are inconsiderate and don't care how their actions affect those who live around them. Besides the obvious smoking, there have been numerous times when we've been woken at 3 am to drunk kids yelling, someone riding their minibike up and down the boulevard for hours at a time after midnight, and cars of residents speeding by over the 10 mph speed limit. I'm so glad our house is done so we can finally leave this hell hole."
