"I don't understand the negative reviews. My husband has stayed here a month for work. Melinda is Awesome!! The hotel is clean, safe, and close to everything in Holland. This is an extended stay hotel. Rooms have a full size fridge, range and microwave. There is no free breakfast or a pool. Again.... This is an extended stay hotel. The rooms are budget friendly because it's more like home. You make your own food, wash your own laundry, provide yourself with basic essentials. My husband has traveled for work for several years. He has stayed in a lot of hotels, this is great place to stay. I/we would return to this hotel again. Oh, did I say how Awesome Melinda was? Don't read the negative reviews just rent the room."

"Would be a 5 star but the internet is so bad even if you pay for the faster internet it only works half the time they need to get a new internet provider...other than that they're great...manager is so friendly and helpful he's awesome...other staff is friendly too...rooms are basically a kitchenette style got a full refrigerator, microwave and 2 burner stove. Plenty of cupboards for storage. Not your typical 1-3 day hotel is for extended stay that's why it's like a kitchenette style hotel and do monthly rates."

"Well I hate leaving bad reviews but here we go. I made a reservation for this hotel roughly a week before I was scheduled to stay. I checked in and checked out all within 10 minutes of my arrival. Upon check in there were two people at the front desk and they were blaring music from their phone. I received my room key and headed up to the room. I opened the door and to my surprise the kitchen area and bathroom were full of fruit flies. We immediately went down to the front desk and told them about the situation. The hotel was completely booked so there wasn't another room available. We were told that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to call the general manager on Monday (checked in on a Saturday). We ended up leaving and booking another hotel the same day at a premium price due to the condition of the room. After reading a review left by another visitor I decided I wouldn't waste my time even calling the manager. I reached out to Choice Hotels and opened a support case. Support was very helpful and assured me that we would come to a resolution. After a few days of follow-ups with support they agreed to issue a full refund in the form of a check that will be here in a couple weeks."

"There were bed bugs and a bad smell (musty) in the room immediately upon entering. We stayed less than 10 minutes and notified the desk that we would be leaving, explaining our concerns. I called asking to speak to the manager on Monday as on Friday, I was told "we can't help you. The manager isn't here." So I called back on Monday. The manager told me to "call back in an hour, I am busy." I called back in an hour and was told "the manager left, we can't help you." I called headquarters who said it looked like the hotel completely deleted my reservation. They 3 way called the hotel and headquarters was disconnected when the girl receptionist answered. They offered a partial refund and got very rude with me stating "you're not going to get a full refund." She then hung up on me. I am filing an official complaint against this location. DO NOT STAY HERE. It was the worst hotel and customer service I have encountered."

"The rooms don't come with any basic kitchen items. They charge you to rent them. Tried to use the free option for the internet, and they still charged me the full amount. They have no ice machine on site. I have called three separate days to speak to the GM about a refund for the internet charge that I had not selected and was told would be refunded. They are refusing to return may calls and refund the over charge that I was told by the desk staff would be refunded."
