"Having read all the bad reviews where the motel came after people, or withheld deposit for no reason, I didn’t leave a review right away, even though everything was fine. It’s been a month now and nothing bad has happened lol. The desk guy was really nice and patient while I tried figuring out my credit card problems situation. The room was clean. I always do a bed bug check first and was glad to find protective covers on both box spring and mattress. Bed was comfy. Heater didn’t smell weird like a lot of cheap motel heaters do. Coffee in room was not too bad. Water pressure in shower was good. One flaw was no USB charging port in my room. I didn’t have an outlet adapter with me so that sucked. But that was the only issue I had. Breakfast was way better than I expected. Bagels and cream cheese is always nice, and they had 3 kinds of bagels. There was a lot of other stuff that looked good, even eggs and sausage and gravy and biscuits, but I got full on 2 bagels and just couldn’t. I’ve never had problems with a Microtel and this one was good too. The bad reviews for this one are sorta extreme and scary, but when you’re poor you don’t have a lot of options and Microtel is always the best bet for cheaper than average but also no bedbugs or live-in drug dealers and meth labs."

"We reserved the rooms though priceline. My brother & Sister in-law Came down with COVID I called Priceline on Tuesday 3days before they had to come down for a benefit for our Nephew that has cancer. Priceline would give the money back if the motel would agree but they didn't and wouldn't give me the money back. So I will Never Never Stay there again. I will not recommend the motel to anyone. You pay $100 cash for damage to the room I told the manager when I checked in I took a video and I was going to go through with who ever was cheeking the rooms. Come cheek out the kid said I was not allowed. He came back down and told me there was a stain on the bed spread,I pulled u the video I took that morning and told him to show me. He than said I will not change you. My nephew had a room and they tried to charge him for smoking in his room. He has never smoked in his life and no one was in that room with him. So than the guy said I will not charge you. This a Place is A Scam and will take your money.... Don't Stay At This Motel....."

"Everything was great, besides the toilet kept running for hours and one of the towels had a green spot on it. They had everything set and ready for my stay i got done with a wrestling show and got food and i set up a late check in time i was worried but everything worked out and it was a nice room."

"Family wedding weekend trip & first time ever requesting a new hotel room. First one smelled overwhelmingly of wet dog--fur all over the carpet & kibble in the corner. 2nd room was MUCH better, but still had faint "eau de canine". We don't have dogs, so that & seeing 2 yippy--albeit leashed--dogs surprise a woman as they came off the elevator made me cringe). Walls were thin, so needed the fan on all night to drown out neighbor noise. Appreciate the pancake maker at breakfast, muffins, and some choice at breakfast. Staff were as helpful as possible-- vacuumming #1 before we told them the smell was too much & even requesting husband email his picture of furry carpet to them to address with housekeeping. Most of this seems to be a pet or cleaning policy outside of their control--pet deposit doesn’t seem to cover smell removal cleaning costs. Disappointed we were even offered room #1. I likely will avoid choosing Microtel again."

"This hotel surprised me! The reviews were not that great but our stay 2 days ago was very good! All we wanted were comfortable beds and clean bathrooms and flooring! The continental breakfast was amazing with breakfast sandwiches, pastries, yogurt, you can make pancakes and fruit is always good to have!! Better than some of the nicer more expensive and higher rated reviews. Definitely above our expectations! The front desk is professional and very accommodating! So don’t always listen to the bad reviews! For the price this hotel was a steal!! Thanks for a nice stay!!! Cate"
