"We have been customers of McLaughlin’s our whole married life (55 years) and have purchased almost all of our home furnishings there. We have always had excellent customer service, especially the last 10 years with Randy. He is absolutely the best! We recently purchased a new table for our kitchen. There was a slight concern that I could have learned to live with if I had to, but didn’t want to especially for the price of the table. Al Fraser, the manager, went above and beyond to make it right, having the table fixed at their expense. We are beyond satisfied and will remain loyal customers."

"The furniture is very nice looking, but the customer service is terrible! There where 3 salesman on the floor one reading a newspaper, one on the phone checking their email and another helping 3 different other families. Even if you do make an appointment there still would be a 30 min wait time. When my family and I did receive help we didn’t have as much attention time or patience as the other families did. As much money my family would’ve been spending at this place I would’ve expected the equal amount of respect but I didn’t. Thanks Randy for showing my family and I what customer service shouldn’t look like my family and I won’t be returning!"

"Two of my close friends had very bad experiences at this store and warned me not to deal with them.....I should have listened. I needed new furniture and couldn't find what I was looking for elsewhere so I decided to give it a try and hoped for the best. My salesman was very friendly. I was buying quite a bit and he assured me he would be available to me during the order and delivery if there were questions or concerns. He assured me that the delivery team would be equipped to deal with my wood floors and things would go smoothly. When the delivery came and there were problems, he didn't want to be bothered and was no longer friendly. A pair of chairs with different legs was not what I ordered. He truly didn't want to be bothered with me since he had already made the sale. He had promised that the delivery men had pads for the furniture feet since all my floors are wood. They had no idea what I was talking about. To make a long story short, after having the wrong legs sent back 2 times for style and color, I finally get the correct legs in the correct color. I tried to get in touch with the managers of the store, the owners of the store, or some type of customer service. They didn't care and just wanted me to go away since the sale was already made. The reason for the 2 stars and not 1 is the ladies in the warehouse. They became my lifeline in dealing with all the mistakes that were made by the salesman. They were genuinely helpful and cared about correcting the mistakes. I should have listened to my friends and avoid the headaches of dealing with this store."
