About the Business

Corrado Park, located at 8500 Flamingo Boulevard in Westland, Michigan, is a beautiful park perfect for picnics and gatherings. The park offers picnic shelters for reservation, where guests have exclusive use of picnic tables in the shelter area. Please note that reservations do not include exclusive use of park facilities such as play structures and spray parks.

Before reserving a shelter at Corrado Park, be sure to review the Park Picnic Shelter rules. Decorations can be tied to the shelter but must be removed at the end of the event. Renters are responsible for cleaning up the area and depositing trash in provided containers.

Reservations for park shelters begin in January for the season. Please note that picnic canopies, tents, inflatable moonwalks, and grills are not allowed in the park. Additionally, live bands or loud music, pony rides, and open flame devices are prohibited.

Alcohol, in accordance with Michigan laws, is allowed at Corrado Park. However, all parks close at 10:00 p.m. and vehicles are not permitted on grass areas or near the shelter. Reservations require full payment at the time of booking, and cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance with a processing fee.

For any groups wishing to use the park for events such as political rallies or festivals, prior approval from the department is required. Please adhere to the rules and regulations to ensure a pleasant experience at Corrado Park.

"It's so unfair that this beautiful park only gets 2 stars, but it isn't a very kid-safe or family friendly neighborhood park. Just recently a wreckless driver sped down the street, took a turn too fast, and crashed into the park fence where kids were playing feet away. And if you want to see teens smoking weed, drinking, or loudly fighting, this is the place."

"Larger than it looks on the map. A soccer field, 2 sand volleyball courts, tennis courts *removed, large garden, full basketball court, 3 pavilions, and 2 playgrounds."

"Great for family gatherings. Wish there were more places to use the restroom. There is a nice volleyball and basketball area. 1 barbeque grill and a play scape. Beautiful butterfly garden. Nice small park overall"

"It's a nice park! The only thing I saw that could be an issue is the weeds in the tennis courts, but thankfully I wasnt there for that. The walking path is really nice and fairly long too. I didn't expect it to be as long as it was. The butterfly garden was really pretty too. A peaceful little place to walk and unwind, or to bring your kids to play."
