"We ordered2 full slabs of ribs naked and lightly charred. We got fries and coleslaw wlth a corn muffins. We ordered an extra muffin and fries. I dont know who was cooking but GRAND SLAM TONIGHT. Everything was cooked to perfection. Best meaty ribs ever, excellent char.Fries done to perfection, crisp and hot. Really enjoyed the meal. Its always good but today Magnificent. Tried to call to acknowledge the meal but they were busy."

"I was very appreciative and impressed that even being really busy, we were able to be seated. The waitress at first was very attentive. Unfortunately, that changed quickly after our drinks reached the table. After waiting a good 10 minutes to order food, I was hoping it wouldn't be a long wait. It was about a full 20 or so minutes till food finally arrived. The food was absolutely delicious! It's definitely a very good barbecue place. Proportions were of good size for the cost. The kids were happy with the taste of theirs and the wife loved her salad. I had the two meat combo, which had rib tips, and Georgia chopped pork. The sauces were amazing! Ended up taking some home. The waitress took forever to bring boxes and the bill. She didn't seem to be engaged in the actual work. Still knowing she has to make a living, I tipped. I'm hoping the service industry as a whole eventually stabilizes and better servers come of it. Update: Went to the Westland restaurant. Totally different experience with our waitresses. It was such a great service experience. The manager really is very involved in the operation and ot shows. The food was so good! Totally was a great experience for the family. We usually eat out one day on the weekend. It's hard making a choice with all four of us wanting something different. Famous Dave's and another local steak house is our family's safe bet. I'm glad to have another addition to our safe bet list."

"Brittney wanted BBQ, so I took her to Famous Dave's in Westland. we had barbecued spare ribs, brisket and chicken,coleslaw, french fries,and baked beans. Best barbecue around. Our waitress was very special. I highly recommend this if you're looking for BBQ."

"My first time here was on the 4th of July as soon as they opened ! The food was SOOOO good! (See photo!)Every thing was a 10/10. Just this week we ordered take out for dinner. It wasn't so great - the rib tips were unedible. I like char/burnt ends but these were beyond that. I couldn't even bite into a couple of them. The mac and cheese was like soup. For 2 people to eat here , your gonna be paying atleast $40 - 60 so getting bad food is very disappointing. Would return for dining in only. Not more take out for me."
