MJR Westland Grand Cinema 16

"This is my first time coming to an MJR and while our experience with the manager Wesley, seating, and actual screen time was nothing short of great; the two security guards or whatever they were, made me and my boyfriend extremely uncomfortable. The manager Wesley was able to fix our movie tickets after the girl at the front sold us the wrong movie time. Meanwhile the security guards stared at us extremely hard the second we walked in, and even after we walked out our theatre room they were still fixated on just us. The female guard wearing a suit went as far as following me to the restroom. I literally nearly ran into her when I was coming out the stall. She tried to play it off by going to the hand dryer even though she had just entered the restroom and went all the way to the end of the bathroom when there is a hand dryer at the front of the restroom. I am not sure why they did what they did, am not sure if they were racially profiling me and my boyfriend but it was one of the worst most uncomfortable experiences I have ever had at a movie theatre. If you are of Hispanic decent I definitely do NOT recommend coming here, at least NOT to this location."

"MJR Theater in Westland is always very immaculate whenever I go inside the theater I never see a kernel of popcorn or trash on the floors, or in the seats. The restrooms are spotless. The recliner seats are extraordinary, and the VIP seats are heated - I love it. Lastly, the staff and security team are so friendly and helpful that it just makes me want to keep coming back. Keep up the great work MJR Theater."

"We always enjoy our time at MJR WESTLAND. The seats are so very comfortable, and the sound systems in each theater are remarkable!"

"Good customer service skills love the vip seating as well because it has heat in the seats it has your own little divider so nobody sees what you are doing and it also has a nice table to put your food and drink on. O not to mention it was very cleaned and; organized the bathrooms were clean too. My only con is that they need better customer service skills at the concession stand like if you don't want to do your job then they should just stay at home. Or have someone who's more enthusiastic into what they are doing in the concession stands. I understand dearly that some customers may get to you but don't take it out on other people."

"I would give it a five but I had a problem with their online ticket ordering system. However I did buy seats at the theater and got the VIP seating which for seniors is around $16. Well worth the money extremely comfortable recliners with cup holders and tables attached. One of the most enjoyable movie experiences I've had as far as comfort. I will be attending this theater again the VIP seats again are well worth the price."
